Help us achieve our goals

The Furman Rugby Foundation is a non-profit, 501(3)(c) organization. Through the efforts of our alumni, parents, and fans we have launched a capital campaign to raise money towards an endowment to support:

1) A coaching stipend. Our founding coach worked 18 years with no pay, but the program cannot thrive going forward without compensating those who lead our program.

2) Assist with select operating costs. Furman does provide funds for officiating, uniforms, equipment and local travel, but the team needs help in covering play-off related spending and travel.

3) Scholarship and financial aid. We want to provide grants for recruits and be able to help our current players and families who are facing a financial hardship.

Giving levels

Furman 7s
(for those making an annual gift of at least $700). This represents a commitment of a minimum of $60 per month and is suitable for young alumni, those in graduate school, military or working in the non-profit field.

Furman 15s
(for those making an annual gift of at least $1,500). This represents a commitment of a minimum of $125 per month. This is suitable for established alumni, parents of alumni and other benefactors.

Championship Circle
(for those making an annual gift of at least $3,000). This represents a commitment of $250 per month and is symbolic of Furman’s 3 national championships.

Founder’s Circle
(for those making a one-time gift of at least $9,800). This giving level is symbolic of Furman Rugby’s Founding year – 1998.
